David W. Pidwell, has been a venture partner since 1996. In 1987 he founded Rasna Corporation, a mechanical design automation software company financed by the partners at Alloy. He was President and CEO until 1995 when Parametric Technology (NASDAQ:PMTC) acquired the firm. Prior to Rasna, Mr. Pidwell was employed by ROLM Corporation for 14 years. He received a BS in electrical engineering and a MS in computer systems engineering from Ohio University and completed 3 years of work at Stanford University on a PhD in engineering economic systems. He is currently a director of iPrint, Ensenda, Xactly, and Informatica (Nasdaq: INFA).
